The origin of the store name “à petits pas.”, which is full of healing and kindness
à petits pas…….means “with one small step” in French.
Ms. Asakura, the owner, started this store with “one step that you can take now” and the concept is “creation, circulation, healing and harmony that can lead to small steps for visitors.
The menu at the cafe is basically vegan and gluten-free. The cafe offers meals and sweets made from carefully selected ingredients such as organic vegetables, rice flour, fair trade coffee and tea, etc., which are “kind to the body, mind, and environment.
Aptipa celebrates its 14th anniversary in April 2023, having nurtured the small things it can do now, one step at a time.
Aptipa, now in its 15th year, continues to create meals and a space where visitors can feel satisfied in body and soul and smile.

The pot-au-feu, filled with a variety of root vegetables, had a gentle flavor with a hint of herbs. I thought the style of serving it with brown rice was also quite a good match.
Aptipa makes all of its own dressings and sauces. Even the accompanying salads have tricks to offer a variety of flavors, such as a holy basil sauce and a sweet summer orange dressing.
And the most eye-catching thing is the beautiful coloring.
